PostSubject: Co-Pilot & GA Aircraft   Sat Apr 09, 2011 7:53 am

I recently purchased Multi Crew Experience and I really enjoy it. I have begun to notice that the co-pilot seems to have a rough time in both my Siai Marchetti FS 260 and the Beech Duke Turbine. The difficulties seem to arise when I am enjoying a VFR flight around my local area - no flight plan filed - just sightseeing. He appears uneasy with the speed (too low), altitude (either too low around the destination airport or not following some pattern of "correctness" that he has in his head), heading (drifting off the "heading bug" even though no flight plan was filed or heading established) He is fine when I am in a larger aircraft with a flight plan filed but put him in a aircraft that MCE believes could support a co-pilot and fly that aircraft in a VFR setting and he is pretty nervous. Any way of getting him to accept the parameters commonly present in GA/VFR flying?

John

When I'm on a free flight, I just tell FO not to bother me with prompts. Just tell him/her to shutup (I mean politely) Laughing
